Every 101 hubset is machined, anodized and assembled entirely in our Asheville, NC manufacturing facility. Built around a dual-phase drive mechanism accomplishing 90 POE or 4° engagement by way of a six pawl driver and 45 tooth drivering, 101 takes a nononsense approach in welcoming riders to legendary Industry Nine engagement. Ensuring the bike stays out of the shop and on the trail, 101 hubs feature high load cartridge bearings, service-friendly retained pawls actuated by durable leaf springs and a robust protection system using a labyrinth radial freehub lip seal and endcap proximity seals which remain unencumbered by bearing wear or preload.
