A MESSAGE FROM BIKE MONKEY RE: COVID-19

We have been monitoring the developing COVID-19 situation and its effects locally, nationally, and internationally. We have had to make many changes in the way we operate to enhance the safety of our staff, customers and community. We want to keep you safe and keep you riding.
As of Monday, March 23, 2020, we are implementing more significant changes in the way we operate.
Our doors are open, and limited to three customers at a time. When there are three customers in the store we will keep the doors locked. If you have needs, we can arrange pick up outside the store. We are sanitizing bikes as they leave the door. For some of our product lines, we are able to have things drop shipped directly from the supplier to your door.
We are able to ship parts and bikes by bus within Nova Scotia. Our service is open however we are running with a skeleton staff, so it’s always best to call or email ahead.
We have implemented a no-handshake policy
We accept all methods of payment.
We’ve got rubber gloves in store for customers who wish to touch / feel parts or ride bikes. We also sanitize all touch points after each test ride.
We’ve had a lot of calls for it, but our bike fleet is currently not available for rent.
Our bike fitting services have been suspended until further notice.
All high-touch areas (counters, tabletops, doorknobs, bathroom fixtures, toilets, phones, keyboards, etc.) are being wiped multiple extra times per day.
We sincerely appreciate your continued business and support through this very turbulent time. We are taking these extraordinary measures to stay open to serve our community.
